Why did you choose UW-Stevens Point?
Everyone was really welcoming and friendly when I visited, and it just felt right.

What do you like most about going to UWSP?
All of the professors seem to be very open and willing to help when we have problems with the material. And Central Wisconsin is great! There is always something to do, bigger cities are close by, and you can walk or bike everywhere.

What are your career goals?
I plan on being a 4th or 5th grade teacher.

How has UW-Stevens Point prepared you for life after graduation?
My education classes have given me experiences in writing lesson plans, time management, classroom discipline, and so much more. I even teach a class of my own at the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station.UWSP Student - Andrew in Schmeeckle Nature Reserve

Working with so many great people! Being on staff in the Residence Halls and being involved with Student Government - we are offered so many opportunities for both educational purposes and our enjoyment.

What advice would you give to a new UWSP student?
Take time to get to know a lot of different people, and have fun!
